Homeshare Development and Delivery Officer

(Clarion Housing Pilot)

 The key overarching objectives of this role are: 

  • Set up a Homeshare programme for Clarion Housing residents across the UK
  • Deliver the day-to-day activities of the pilot programme recruiting, matching, and supporting up to 8 Homeshare matches over the first year growing to 25 Homeshare matches by year 3
  • Promote the Homeshare model to Clarion residents and wider stakeholder groups
  • Support an increase in take-up Homeshare by people in social housing
  • Use learning from the project to create new guidance for the wider network

Salary Scale: £20,496 pro rata 3 days (£34,471 FTE)

Hours:
22 Hours per week

Location: Home-based with travel around the UK.

Accountable to: HSUK National Homeshare Manager

Contract: Initial 12-month contract with extension subject to securing further funding.

HSUK Network Support and Development Officer

Closing date 10/09/21

Building on the successful development of the sector over the past seven years this role will: 

  • Provide continued support to our network members.
  • Provide start-up and development support to new Homeshare programmes.
  • Take the lead in maintaining our website and social media presence.
  • Help drive up the quality of delivery of the Homeshare in the UK.
  • Support Homeshare to become recognised as a mainstream housing and a preventative social care model.
  • Work with the Homeshare UK team and our national leads to support the promotion of Homeshare across the UK.
  • Support an increase in take-up of Homeshare particularly by people from diverse background and communities.

    Salary Scale: £20,496 pro rata 3 days (£34,471 FTE)

    Homeshare UK Kickstart roles

    We currently have 2 fully funded Kickstart placements, for people aged 16-24 on Universal Credit.

    Homeshare UK Administrator:

    In this role you will be working with the Homeshare UK team to support our existing members, and help develop new opportunities for Homeshare across the country.

     

    Homeshare Communications Assistant:

    Salary Scale: Relevant National Minimum Wage

    Hours:
    25 Hours per week

    Contract: 6 Months (ending June 22 at the latest)

    These positions are available through the Kickstart scheme, which is designed for young people at risk of long term unemployment, so applicants must be 16-24 and be on Universal Credit to apply.
