last modified on 24 October 2016

Guidance notes

How your scheme is marketed is key to success.

You will need to ensure that there is targeted marketing attracting both Homesharers and Householders who meet the requirements of you scheme.

It is also important to market and promote the scheme to agencies and organisations who may be in a positon to refer or signpost both Householders and Homesharers to your scheme.

For this element of good practice you will need to demonstrate:

  • That you understand the importance of quality and targeted marketing
  • You have allocated sufficient time, financial and staffing resource to marketing your scheme
  • You are tracking the effectiveness of your marketing activity
  • You are reviewing your marketing and promotional activity and amending and refocusing where necessary.
